Welcome to Class 9
SPRING TERM HOMEWORK REMINDER
This term we have asked Year 5 to present the life cycle of an animal which goes through Metamorphosis!
They can choose to tell us about the following...
They will need to visually present the life cycle of one of these creatures, but also must include scientific key words to describe each stage.
Please bring your work into school by 3rd April! (The last Wednesday of term.)
Over the course of the past two weeks, the children have been designing and making Anglo-Saxons brooches. Great fun was had by all! Here are some images of the process and our final products.
We have been learning a model text in English called, “The Library.” The children have been using a text map to learn and retell the story using actions and expression to support their storytelling. Pupils will be bringing home a copy of the map and the text so they can practise and learn it off by heart. A copy of the text map is also pictured below.
Yesterday, 8 of our Year 5 pupils went to West Notts College to train as Sports Leaders for our school. They now plan to meet with Miss Webb to discuss how they can support sport at St. Peter’s.
World War Two Projects.
Below are images of some of our class showing off their amazing World War 2 projects. These were based on World War 2 planes from either Britain or Germany. More to follow...
