If you have any problems with home learning, please let us know. We will add generic items, extra learning and links to support you at home to the class page with your feedback. We can't email you directly, but if you want to message us with any thing you have been doing or would like to share, we would love to hear it. Remember to learn, exercise, play games and help your families. Although we can't be with you in the classroom, we will do everything we can to support you at home.
We hope you are all well and having fun.
Our number this week is number 6. see if you can count out 6 things at home and sing along with the number 6 song below.
There are some nursery rhymes below for you sing along to with Mr Tumble and a song all about shapes.
If you don't have any ready made dough at home you can make some, it's really easy:
1 cup of plain flour
1/2 cup of salt
1/2 cup of hot water
1/2 cup of cold water
1 tbsp of veg oil
You can also add food colouring or a squirt of children's poster paint for colour.
Stir it up and put it in the microwave for a few minutes at a time, stiring each time you check it.
Knead it and once it's cooled, you have some dough!
This half term we will be learning about autumn, woodland animals, Bonfire Night and the Christmas Story. We have also planned a very exciting trip to White Post Farm to see the animals, take part in a Nativity and of course see Santa!
On Tuesday 10th December, Morning and Afternoon Nursery will be performing a Nativity with Foundation 2 children. We hope you can come and watch your child perform as they have been practising hard.
Children love to go outside in all weather. Please make sure your child has:
* a warm coat
* hat, gloves, scarf
* wellies (they all love to jump in muddy puddles)
Thematic Topic Week
This week our theme has been sharks. Children have really engaged with the stories Shark in the Park! Shark in the Dark and Shark in the Park on a Windy Day! They have made telescopes, shark masks and shark puppets.
Welcome back from the summer holidays! We have lots of exciting things planned this year and the children have been very busy already. A special welcome to the children who have joined St. Peter's this year.
Please make sure you bring a water bottle to school each day and remember to name all clothing, jumpers and cardigans seem to grow legs and walk, they are much easier to find with a name inside them.
Adults in Foundation are Mrs Widdowson, Mrs Marland, Mrs Taylor, Miss Thompson, Miss Harrison and Mrs Lawrence.
Our topic this half term is All About Me and Under the Sea. We have been reading Hooray for Fish by Lucy cousins and doing lots of sea creature crafts.
