  • School Values

At St Peter’s CofE Primary Academy Mansfield, a warm and welcoming Church of England primary school, our values are the heart of everything we do. As an academy committed to nurturing every child, we embrace our vision of “Loving, living and learning with Jesus” by fostering a caring and inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.

    Living Our Values Every Day

Love is the foundation of our school community. It guides our actions and shapes the aspirations we hold for all our children. We believe that by living out our values, our pupils learn not only to succeed academically but also to become compassionate, respectful, and resilient individuals.

    Our core values are:

    • Love
    • Respect
    • Listen
    • Forgive
    • Aspire
    • Persevere

These values are not just words; they are demonstrated daily through our collective worship and school life, helping us all to live well together.

What Our Values Mean for Pupils and Families

    • Love and Respect: We create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and cared for. This encourages positive relationships between pupils, staff, and the wider community.
    • Listening and Forgiving: We teach pupils the importance of empathy and understanding, encouraging them to listen carefully to others and resolve conflicts with kindness.
    • Aspiring and Persevering: We inspire every child to aim high and develop resilience, supporting them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

    Learning Through Our Values

Our commitment to these values is reflected in our carefully planned, inclusive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our school community. With 181 pupils from Nursery to Year 6, including 45% pupil premium, 30% English as an Additional Language (EAL), and 38% with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), we ensure every child receives the support they need to flourish.

We aim for every pupil to:

    • Learn well in a supportive and inclusive environment
    • Develop wisdom and knowledge that prepare them for the next stage of their education
    • Grow as caring, confident individuals rooted in our shared Christian values

Join Us in Living Our Values

We warmly invite parents and the wider community to engage with our school ethos. Together, we can nurture the next generation to live with love, respect, and perseverance—values that extend beyond the classroom and into life.
