St Peter’s C of E Primary Academy is a warm, safe and caring Church of England school situated on the edge of Mansfield providing education from 3 to 11 for over 200 children. We have an abundance of green space and a dedicated Forest School area for children to develop independence, resilience, a curiosity of our world and to have fun.
We are a good school with dedicated staff. Our vision is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in loving, living, and learning with Jesus, which means fostering a school culture where kindness, respect, and faith guide our actions. This vision shapes our approach to education and community life, ensuring that every pupil feels happy, safe, and included.
We aim for our pupils to leave St Peter’s as independent, confident, self-disciplined, enquiring, and creative individuals. We strive to equip them with the academic skills and personal qualities necessary to succeed in their next educational phase and beyond.
Our pupils enjoy a broad and balanced curriculum that inspires a love of learning. We provide numerous opportunities for creative expression, outdoor learning, and spiritual growth. Whether through our forest school sessions, the arts, or community events, life at St Peter’s reflects our commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
We warmly invite prospective parents and families to explore what makes St Peter’s a unique and nurturing place to learn and grow. Discover how our vision of loving, living, and learning with Jesus shapes every aspect of school life.

Welcome from the Chair of Governors
Welcome from Chair of Governors.
I’m Donna Wilson, your new Chair of Governors at St Peters’ Primary Academy Mansfield.
Here at St Peter’s we have an experienced, active and committed governing body. Christian values, and the care and well-being of our St Peter’s family; pupils, staff and parents; is at the heart of all we do.
Over the past 15 years, all 4 of my children have attended St Peter’s. So it’s an honour and a privilege to be associated with this school and it’s amazing children, staff and parents.
You can contact me via the school office if you would like to speak to me.
